Ford to Introduce Interceptor, A Muscle Car with a 1960 Sedan Look

Ford is renowned as a company making muscle cars. It is now extending the fleet with a new muscle car known as Interceptor. This new car has a sporty elegance and a 1960 sedan look.
The car is powered by a 5.0-litre V-8 engine that is controlled by a manual six-speed gear box. The car has the same engine that can won the 2005 Grand-Am Cup Championship in the first year of the competition.

The engine has now been modified and the car now runs on E-85 ethanol and that makes the car deliver a whooping 400 bhp.

The car has a traditional rear wheel drive that includes a short front and a large rear overhang.
Other features such as a low cabin and a high beltline deliver the car a 1960 sedan look.
Ford has also given the car its signature by a three-bar grillthat has been integrated into the bumper beam.

The Interceptor is equipped with a 22-inch wheels and a tough rear axle for more sports performance feel.

Though the car has a 1960 look exterior but the interiors are ultra modern with leather and metal finishes.

Ford has also emphasized on the security of the passengers by integrating Ford’s patented four-point belt and suspenders system in all four seats and the rear passengers get some added safety with inflatable seat belts in the rear.
