The 2008 Ford Focus Coupe is set for a debut at next years North American international Auto Show in Detroit but the Spies from Winding Road succeeded in capturing this Coupe whilst in testing. The engineers did a good job in layering it but the spies still sneaked in few important shots, which do reveal a considerable amount of information.
The Ford Focus caught in testing was running on 15-inch seven spoke alloys covered in Hankook Optimo tires, the name of the alloy manufacturer wasn’t inscripted on them. A look at the rear hints at a deck cover wing however, the front end has been well guarded and the only thing evident is that, it will receive a cradle of Ford’s corporate parallel bar fencing. At the top, there is an interesting yet indefinable protuberance . A closer look at the interior reveals nothing more than a new three-spoke steering wheel, as the rest of the console has been ably decked. This wheel is lodging Cruise control and Audio buttons.
Definitely, theses spy shots create a new level of curiosity and it will be tough to wait until January next year. The most captivating part is the top bulge and that back lid wing, what they are doing there; we just hope that they enhance the appearance of this upcoming model, because it seldom happens that such redundant features add to the splendor, We wish them all the best for the retort this will achieve in January !
