There is a garden not far from here,
It contains a plant so bad,
It can kill with alarming swiftness,
It’s the most dangerous that they’ve had.
Sit under it for just ten minutes,
That time would surely fly,
And before you know what happens,
You will surely die.
No warning signs surround it,
You’re really on your own,
It is completely unadorned,
Yet the most wicked one they’ve grown.
Now, before you think I’ve gone mad,
Or even just a little silly,
This plant is quite a common one,
It’s a water lily.
